Emails can be forged to look like they come from a trusted source.

Follow these simple precautions to protect yourself.

•	Delete any email asking you to provide confidential account information. Citibank will never send you an email requesting such information.
•	Do not ever enter your account number and PIN into a pop-up window. Citibank login pages are always on a webpage and never in a pop-up window.
•	Never open email attachments from sources that you cannot trust.
•	Open emails only when you know the sender.
•	Always scan email attachments for viruses before opening them. If you are unsure about the source of an attachment, delete it.
